Player notes and hand history stop being accessible in-play

I don't know if this a known problem or something that is just affecting my PC.

A few times now I find myself playing at the tables for a while (anywhere from 30mins+) and then I'm suddenly unable to open player notes (ie doesn't register me clicking on a player) or open the hand history (ie the links in the chatbox are broken).

The only way I can fix this is to close the download client down, exiting all tables, then reopen and start again.

That option is a pain as it invariably means that you lose your place at the tables.

Is there any way to easily overcome this, without the need to close down my tables?  And if it is a known issue, is there an expected date for resolution?
