50NL - Bluff Line V Good Laggy Reg

Villian is a good laggy reg capable of 3betting light and firing multiple barrels w/ air, so deffo has a fairly wide range by the turn of OPs, TP hands, J9s, gut shots, turned FDs and some air.

I'm sure villain will think I'm pretty solid/tight.

Apart from JJ it's vv hard for the villain to have any sets here and I think a set is pretty much the only hand he will continue with facing my turn raise.

Thoughts?

Really? AdJd, Adxd, AA-QQ, maybe a Q10/108 bluff hand that has pciked up equity (especially if diamonds). All hands he could have that would probably at least call the 4/1 pot odds.

Granted its not a lot of hands but more than just sets. I think your bluff is fine BTW, looks very strong and is a very cheap bluff too (with outs).

if this is how you play your sets you're making a mistake imo

^ its not. Its a completely unbalanced play on this occasion because pretty sure villian thinks I'm very solid so just exploiting that.

Yeah I did say pretty much sets :p there are a few other combos he will continue with but not many

If you mean that Lambert repping a set/playing a set this way is wrong then I think your wrong.

Setwise: We need to build the pot, get value and charge any draws. This also sets up:

Bluffs: If we play our sets this way it opens up bluff oppertunities (and cheap ones!) for the times we float flops and abuse our percieved image. No good having a tight/solid image if we cant exploit it in good spots.
