Site Issues Today (19th April)

Hi all,

Unfortunately we experienced a database outage today which caused all sites to crash. All tournaments and SnG's were paused and then unpaused when we rectified the issue.

If you have any queries regarding this, please contact our customer care department and they will assist you.

We apologise for the inconvenience and the disruption caused by this outage.

    As with many sites, we can experience issues every now and again, but they certainly are not frequent.

    Not exactly true, there is a software issue that has been ongoing for months. The site is very close to being not worth playing at all, There are numerous threads showwing dissatisfaction with the latest software so to say they are not frequent is possibly correct but when they do occur a single issue can last a very long time.

    Lee not sure if this has happened to other people or just me?

    On a number of times when I have been playing I can't see the community cards.  I have tp logout and log back on to start seeing them again.  I can always see me hole cards.  This is really starting to get annoying as mostly play HU and people just nick your blinds so when I come back my stack is a lot less.

    @DEL560 - We can investigate but we need more details so if you could send details to our customer care team, such as the system you use, browser etc.. time you saw the issue, table no. screenshots if possible... This will help us to further investigate.

    @bartoniron - As with a lot of new software there are always bugs that need ironing out, this is why we ask for feedback on here, which it has to be said, is not the case with a lot of other sites. We do also receive an exceptional amount of positive feedback, and you are only stating what you see on the forum, which isn't the majority.

    We obviously don't want to see issues like those seen today, but i can assure you they had nothing to do with the new poker software.

    Is sky going to be running any freerolls or anything extra with for the players involved? I was in the middle of a tournament and by the time id sat there for an hour and the tables were unfrozen i was bored and irritated and wasnt in the mood to play poker. I was knocked out withing 30 mins of the table being unfrozen. Was a bit annoyed as well as i didnt want to just leave my computer just in case u unpaused the tables at any point. I spoke to one of the Livechat people and although i could tell he was trying to be helpful i found i didnt really get anything out of it for the inconvenience. i understand that these problems but definately sky havent been to bothered about how people feel about this. dont want to sound rude just feel like nothing is really being done

    Lee, it just happened again. I took a screen shot of it.  Does Customer Care have a email address I could send it to?
