Kept my powder dry up til now. But I saw a dog beaten last night that took my eye. Crokers Champ is it's name. After leading easily in the 1st two rounds, it had to fight to get to the lead last night, only securing the lead rounding the 2nd bend. The result being one of the strongest stayers in the event Holdem Spy, turned a very handy 4th. And although Holdem Spy took the lead up rounding the last bend, Crokers Champ stayed with him, and even went back in front on the way to the pick up. I'd bet a large chunk that my fancy turns the form round with Holdem Spy on Tues Night, given it has less early pace to contend with. 12/1 ew 1st four to win the event is too big. I'm on.

Not overly concerned that Crokers was picked up in his semi. After all he's only just out of being a puppy, and the 3 runs in a week would have been against him. Plus it was two strong stayers chasing him.

What is more of a concern is getting Trap 1 in the final. Very bad stats from that trap, mainly I guess due to the noise, the dogs can't hear the hare approaching. Plus he defo traps quicker from the middle boxes. Only need a top 4 finish to scoop the ew money though.

Was worried about Mind the Net qualifying half way round, But he absolutly flew the last bend.
Think crockers will run a much stronger race in the final but still think my fellas got enough gears to pick him up.

I agree with u. If it was a two dog trial, yours would be 1/5 on.... It's all about if Crokers can get to the front by the bend after prob' trapping behind due to being in 1. Then how many 'blockers' 'The Net has to pass.

    Nice work joesman / badboy.

Nightmare for me on the semis. Expected Aero Nemesis to qualify at least so didn't trade on him as much as I could have.

I was offering an industry best price on Ecclestone to qualify for 72 hours and no takers :'((
Had to place lay him but that meant a value loss of about 55p per £1

Really enjoyed the Champion Hurdle heats. They're my favourites :-)))

Hopefully no injuries and should be a great night on saturday.

HINT WAS THEN THAT HE WAS NOT 100% ,ALMOST LIKE HE HAD COME HOME TO DIE.
A GREAT ONE ON THE TRACK AND AS A SIRE.

Goodluck tonight if you still have a dog in, Crokers wouldn't be a bad result for me but I would be swinging from the ceiling if Droopys Ward manages to improve again. Here's hoping. At least lets have a competitive race with no accidents.

Any fancies for Irish Derby yet?

If Crokers can get to the front by the 1st bend, I can't see him not being in the 1st 4... He's 2/7 to lead... That's too short IMO.

Really can't wait fot his tonight.

    *********

Got an entry point in mind for Soviet Military (win and/or place) in the champion hurdle.
See how it goes when the markets formed..
Joke prices on BF sportsbook are a decent indicator at the moment.
Even though I'm on there every day, I've never seen a best price with their sportsbook!!

Grrrrr not quite a Champagne Fever moment but still annoying.... Trap 1 cost Crokers the win.... Instead of popping out in front, had to work to lead... Well done to a Salad Dodger though, great story.... Westmead Hawks domination of The Derby continues.. Very apt.....

Very bad night, talking mainly through my pocket :'((((

Managed a tenner on soviet military to place @ 2.42. Unplaced.

Drunk/Tilt/Cocky cos of the free money on Froch...

Had £15 on mind the net @ 2.32
Laid £5 back at 2.08 (I think) to boost the average up to ~2.44

    Gubbed!!!!

No money on it but really enjoyed the close finish in the marathon.
Good to see aero nemesis back to winning ways, he's given me a lot of enjoyment this month :-))

Can't believe Salad Dodger won lol. I hate it when its a good night for the bookies :'(
