Sky Poker TV causing disconnection?

I've been getting disconnections (from the internet) for a while now, and I always thought it was my laptop's wireless that was playing up - but I've realised that this only ever happens when I'm watching Sky Poker TV on my laptop ..

Today I was disconnecting from the internet every two minutes or so (I would re-connect each time), and as soon as I closed the TV channel window - the disconnections stopped. When I re-opened the TV channel, the problem started up again ..

Does this happen to anyone else??

Note: This doesn't happen every time I watch Sky Poker TV, more like 50% of the time - however all the times it has happened have been while watching the channel, if that makes sense. Basically, 50% of the time, I open the TV channel and it is fine. Today is particularly bad though.

 I used to suffer problems like this on a regular basis, and would blame skypoker for the probs.
Bought a new laptop other day and have to say that with a better and faster processor all my problems have disappeared.
How long you had your computer/laptop.

I've had my laptop for four years, it is pretty old.

Just seems suspicious that the only time I have this issue is when Sky Poker TV is running

I had this too on my old laptop, guess it just uses a lot of memory.
