well having choose to stay up and play for just a bit longer the same thing happens again with yet another person, the difference this time is unlike the player above, this player suffered as i thankfully had quads.

That is a cold deck in the second hand, very nice!

Probs just call the river raise in the first hand, or even fold. Quite a lot beats us, and we beat very little. In fact deffo fold if they are tight and passive.

hand 1 was master cash but hand 2 was just the standard cash table.

    HH
when your saying fold the first hand i think your mistaking my full house for a straight.
the thinking was that i saw flushes in his range more often than full house.
the only full house that i sense is 55 A3 34s 35s. really I'm expecting 5s 2s more often than AA.
If the river paired the 5 then i can see a big danger of loosing.

Craig, unless I'm missing something you don't have a FH on that first hand. You have 2 pair, with another pair on the board. You are losing to any 2 for the straight, plus a flush and other bits and pieces. Not sure I'd even bet the river (pretty thin value I suppose), but certainly fold to the raise.

hh i had 44 pre and the flop came As 4s 5h so i have hit a set.
i might have played it like a pair when i checked the flop and bet the turn but if it was a pair i would not bet that river.

all i'm going to bet on the river is 2 67 flush and full house.

Haha, disregard everything I said! (think most do anyway). I'd genuinely clocked your hand as A4, the old Thai aces.

My bad and as you were :)

    Print this and date it.

I don't think Malcolm has ever admitted such a titanic flaw :)
