No real reads, new name to me so no history.

Centres around the theory that I'm pretty sure I'm behind on that turn card, but villain will pay me off with their flush/straight should I boat/quad up on river....

Thoughts?

I think maybe bet slightly too small on the flop with a board that wet.

Looking at your stack size, I would call it off and see the river and check fold to a value looking bet.  IMO as you checked it allows people to bluff. Think in long run a call on the turn is done then analyse again on river.

We have 10 outs so we are about 20% to hit one on the river.  We are not quite getting correct pot odds to call as oppo has just over 3k back for us to take if we hit.  Can probably use those chips in a better spot later.  This is all assuming that oppo hasn't flopped a straight flush or has a bigger set then us which would have us in a world of pain

We need 25% equity to call. If you think the implied odds are there even oop this is a ez call imo.

The implied odds should be there to bump the equity so I feel this is a call w/ cl/fold on river if fh is not achieved.
