Cartmel 2.20 Never Never 2/1 winner
Fairly useful bumper winner who needed experience on his hurdling debut and was much more polished when second at Bangor since. Could have more to come and leading contender here.
Cartmel 2.50 Clues And Arrows 4/5 winner
Irish point winner who has taken bit of time to find feet for new yard but he's really clicked of late, winning 3m handicaps at Taunton and Bangor. Even an 18 lb rise doesn't look enough to stop him.
Leicester 4.55 Wonderstruck sp NR
Sea The Stars half-sister to top-class George Washington and high-class Grandera. Made a promising start to her career when third at Ascot earlier this month and likely to improve considerably
Windsor 5.10 Choral Festival 7/2 x
Winner over C&D last summer and back to form with wins at Brighton and Newbury in recent weeks. Only put up another 2 lb for latest win and still actually below the mark she won off here last season.Did not quite get home!
