Not a bad night's work for MattBates

Victory in a 537 runner Main Event would have been an impressive feat on its own, however last night Matt not only did that but went on to take down the £3K gtd. @£55 Bounty Hunter too.

A superb double by anybodys standards. In my opinion (based purely on on the consistency of his results) Matt must be by far the strongest MTT player on the site right now. Very well played that man.

    Well played, I made the error of shoving my stack in the main on him 89s for a steal, as it was a turbo aswell was tryimg the double up, MISTAKE!! got called with KQo which held, and went out 20th, could.miby have picked a better spot looking  nice too see he went on too win.

    From a hand from the Main last night with 100 ish left. There was a 3 min delay after the turn card whilst Matt rang his boom switch manager to make sure he hit. I don't think he lost a race all night (in front or behind).....amazing for someone with such short legs! :)

    Rungood or no, Bates is a bit of a beast, and I know he's had downswings like the best of 'em. Fwiw, I agree with OP that he probably is the best MTT reg on the site.

    Was a decent night and slip...get that table updated!

    I don't think I will make Vegas this year but will definitely be there next year.
