Brrr, Maxally and Lengaleng still to have ago at picking, do any of you want it , otherwise back to Joesman1 turn Posted by vaigret
I'd love to have a go (in conjunction with someone else) but maybe in the future when we've had a couple of unsuccessful weeks rather than on the back of such success!
Some help for next Saturday! Having committed Oaks winner Taghrooda to the line-up last Thursday, the season's leading owner will bolster his forces against ante-post favourite Telescope with Eclipse Stakes winner Mukhadram, the intended mount of Dane O'Neill.
Have sent out friendship requests( if not received pm me) I wont be posting my bets on main forum now, not any good anyway.LOL e.g. say for today I have had a big bet ???
The Roger Varian-trained Horsted Keynes was cut to clear 8-1 favourite on Monday with a number of firms for the 7f contest with Kevin Ryan's Louis The Pious, who finished three quarters of a length in front of him when winning at the royal meeting, set to reoppose off 3lb worse terms and available to back at 25-1.
The Group 3 Princess Margaret Juddmonte Stakes has attracted 12 fillies including the Mark Johnston-trained Muraaqaba, who was given quotes of 25-1 for the Qipco 1,000 Guineas after winning at Newmarket last month.
John Smith's Cup winner Farraaj could return to York on Saturday and step back up into Group company after he appeared among the 12 entries for the Group 2 Skybet York Stakes. Sunday's Curragh winner Parish Hall was another interesting name to figure.Farraaj's trainer Roger Varian, who could also run Cameron Highland, said: "Farraaj has come out of his win in John Smith's Cup absolutely fine and looks well. It was a good effort that day - a solid, weight-carrying performance. EAGLE TOP will join stablemate Taghrooda in Saturday's £1 million King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot after connections stumped up the £75,000 supplementary fee on Monday.
It is not beyond the realms of possibility that trainer John Gosden could even run three in the race as Derby-third Romsdal, a 20-1 shot, also featured among 12 horses remaining in the midsummer showpiece at Monday's forfeit stage.
Telescope, who soared to the head of the ante-post King George market with a stunning victory in the Hardwicke Stakes at Royal Ascot, heads the entries, which also includes Breeders' Cup winner Magician, who could have the services of a pacemaker in stablemate Hall Of Mirrors.
In Response to Re: SCOOP 6 CLUB -UPDATE for 26th July 2014 : Come on Alan u in-bred!!! U have as much chance of scooping the money as any if us!!! If u insist on not partaking, I'll do it... But I'd prefer u to have a stab before my next turn. Posted by joesman1
Ok OK OK! I will do the same as JJ did then. I will pick 1 horse per race, and then you can add your selections to the perm. Deal?
I will put an alternative in for each race which you can use if you think my 1st choice is a no hoper.
We will sort all this out over facebook Sat morn with a coffee/beer.

Cheers mate. Maybe a bit early for me that! I am going to actually take my time and do some serious reading up on sat morning, so might not have my selections done till about 12. If you let me know yours though, I will work them into the perm somehow.
There is a going change at Ascot and it is not good news for John Gosden and Eagle Top. Our man at the track Graham Dench reports it is now GOOD TO FIRM from good to firm, good in places. Gosden will walk the course later today. 1 hour ago JOHN GOSDEN was happy to get wet at Ascot on Friday as rains eased the way for Eagle Top to take his place in the £1 million King George and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at the track on Saturday.RELATED LINKSAscot Saturday card "This is very welcome when the owner has paid £75,000 to supplement," said Gosden of his Royal Ascot winner, who looks set to take his place alongside stablemates Romsdal and unbeaten Oaks winner Taghrooda in one of the biggest races of the British Flat season.
