Is the bet on river correct?

Hi

Have I made an error in the long run with the bet on the river?  Is it too big?  Guy had been playing pretty tight as is standard in todays dym.  Was thinking of checking behind as calling hands limited to 10x and poss a low pocket pair - I am trying to push everytime for value even in tougher spots - but had in my mind if i bet small and I am then shoved on what is my play?  So went bigger to make the decision easy.  But by doing that have I now forced all small PP to fold and only 10x call?

No u raised it half pot which is roughly what i would have bet on the river, he showed weakness u punished him, no way he does that move with an 10, looks fine - just crazy call by him

Any reason for the 257 left behind? If you go that big you might aswell shove

    My favourite number......

Lol no, wanted to bet 450 after going I to tank and fluffed it so had to quickly half pot it. I think in long run a bet of 400 in this spot more likely to get called by worse, what I bet or shove will only get called by worse I think?

Not playing the result on this hand, amazed guy called

His riv bet should be treated as a check.  As played Jam river (400 bet looks super strong as leaving only 600 behind) although it really does depend on your read on villain.
