there's no need to be offended at all, nor was any offence meant
there are a multitude of opportunities for players of all bankrolls to play the UKPC. its not elitist at all.
It happens also to attract a broader range of players including UK circuit regulars who might not normally play on Sky Poker and might as a consequence do so, as well as providing Sky Sports coverage for Sky Poker, and poker in general, so has to be good news for the growth of the site doesn't it?
Quite a few SPTs were won by people not regulars (some had never even played with Sky) on sky poker either! Some became so, some didn't
I agree that players are being kept in the dark abit about whats going on, sky is big enough too organise more than one or two live events that some of the smaller players can get into or buy direct, granted there is sats at a very low price for UKPC but it is a very difficult challenge for us too get there.
As for non sky regs playing... this can only be a good thing for the site in its growth to be more well know and gaining a bigger customer base, and beeing shown on the sports channel which has a much bigger audience than 861. I myself would love too play along side some of the regs and even the pros that the ukpc attracts but that challenge lies ahead for me.
But think there should be buy in of around 100 too 220 buy ins for the sky players themselves.
