Hi,

Just wondering what your thoughts were wrt to donk bets? I feel that these seem very strong when they happen against me but is this indicative of someone protecting their hands or a random bluff?

Also if i see someone limp and after i raise they re-raise if this usaully a sign of massive strength?

Cheers

Small donk bets are usually weak hands that want to set there own price. They can be intended to induce raises but that is rare and easy to play. Big donk bets are usual top pairs with weak kickers or strong hands on very wet boards such as sets /2 pairs on a monotone boards or straight and flushy boards.

It's a case of watching players and making notes even when you are not in a hand. Free info!

As for the limp reraise then yes, it usually is AA/KK. But again, watch and make notes.
