Is the plan for the show set in stone? Would be great to get the HU SnG specialist to talk about HU SnG rather than cash!

HU SNGs will be on the menu, don't you worry folks.

THERE IS NO FOOTBALL TONIGHT. HENCE, THERE IS NO EXCUSE NOT TO WATCH!

Looking forward to it - my first ever shift with Anna. Should I be scared?

    See you all at 7!

    Hey,

Wondering if you can ask your guest about the best way to play hands like Q3s/J6s/T6s from the button in hyper turbo HU sngs off differing stack sizes. Assume we are playing a random unknown opponent at small-ish stakes.

    For example 6xbb effective, 7xbb effective, 8xbb effective, 10xbb, 12xbb effective stacks.

    Cheers.

    Howdy.

Can I request a hand from MC 24, please? :)

    Pre-flop is self-explanatory.

On the flop, I didn't want to raise him off any random bluffs with no equity.

Turn, I think I have to raise for value after his second barrel.

On the river, I thought it was strange that he would donk-lead with just a Nine or Ten, so figured he either had a missed draw or a two. Do I miss value by not raising or is he going to have better too often?

I think it's a mistake not to raise-fold the river, actually. Perhaps I could have raised the flop. What do you two think?

    Thanking you.

Good evening guys good show so far. What was the pre flop action in that competition hand?

You may not agree with it, but my reasoning for folding 99 on the 8 high flop was:-
There was a raise and a re-raise preflop and I was in the small blind and OOP.
I had no draw so I needed to be winning at the showdown with 99.
I cannot call as there is another player after me and therefore I would be pot committed anyway, so all in is the only option.
I will only be called by a hand that is beating me.
even if the hand over me folds I still have to win the hand and I am either crushed or facing two over cards to my pair.
I think it best to fold as there will be another hand along in a minute

Ok the daft question for Ryan.
Why are you wearing your cap? You are inside a studio, is the roof leaking?

Anna, I was sure I had something unpleasant yet humorous to say to you tonight...

...give me a few minutes on that.

I did have a question lined up for Jen on Sunday but she was in Thailand and Richard didn't ask Karl this, so...

"Jen, why is it that if you go down to the beach it's considered normal to walk around in trunks or teeny weeny bikinis, but if you walk down the high street in just your pants you get funny looks?"

You can change "Jen" to Ross and Ryan, if you like. I think it works fine either way.

    Hope the show's going well.

    Guess the hand:

Is it Colonel Mustard in the library with the candlestick?

Who kills someone with a candlestick? Honestly, why is that in the game?

hand request from the main event

    793881062

did i take the correct approach check raising the flop or should i just take the lead myself?

also i'm wondering if i should just fold these hands preflop to protect my stack rather than risk loosing a full stack to these spots?

Peter Kay's from Bolton, I'm afraid. Poor chap.

Of course, Blackpool is a much nicer place to live. Almost no instances of people stealing my stuff this month.

well i've managed to get rid of the frustation now and i guess i just have to accept it because on two other occasions a limper has helped me out including a time i had QQ and was given an easy escape when the SB limp called then raised when an A came on the flop so i could easily fold.
also i got a full house with 54 in the BB
