Hi Melvyn,
I'm playing a few Tourneys right now, so I'll answer later, or tomorrow, if you don't mind.
Try putting in Poker rooms in Vegas into Google, when i did it, all of them came up with schedules, but-ins, and blind structures.

the stratosphere is good value
harrahs is medium value but a good number off entrants every afternoon
evern the rio is not to expensive
all casinos run tournements every day
hope this helps
Melvyn - the website Solar Posted is perfect.
Try & play a few different rooms to properly sample Vegas. If you can afford to play at Ceasars or The Venetian, do try, they are both excellent.
Avoid The Rio at all costs, though.
Also, go downtown & play at Binions to taste the olde-world Vegas. The WSOP was held there, amazingly, until a few years back.
Do NOT go "off-strip" at nights, it's the second most dangerous poker City on earth if you wander off-strip at night.
Enjoy.
Don't forget to visit Bobby's Room! :-)
Have an amazing trip!
He's "robbed" many a player of their chips and cash.
Pretty much every casino has 2-3 tourneys a day.
I played a few at the stratosphere where I was staying but twas a bit bingo. I bubbled both times!
Play at Caesers Palace....best value for money for sure! Tis a great poker room!
Im off to vegas next Wednesday and will not venture off strip.
Barcelona - it's "no contest"! If you cash, you get mugged. Been like that for years.
Good Luck in Vegas. I can't imagine for one moment that you are the sort of chap who would venture off-strip. Hardly.
Softest - Tropicana (very soft cash tables, smells a bit of wee though)
