    Hi Melvyn,

I'm playing a few Tourneys right now, so I'll answer later, or tomorrow, if you don't mind.

lowest cash would be $1/2 at most of them cheapest torneys are $30 in the luxor and mandalay  bay but blinds a bit steep but they are very friendly and you will get a good game  average players are about 30 so in with a good chance play only what u can aford have a good time  im out there in the summer

Lowest buy in tourney I found on the strip was $40 at O'Sheas, and a few $50 also, downtown casinos can be cheaper also.

All Vegas tourneys and buys in can be found at this site

    I am 53 days away!!

Melvyn - the website Solar Posted is perfect.

Try & play a few different rooms to properly sample Vegas. If you can afford to play at Ceasars or The Venetian, do try, they are both excellent.

Avoid The Rio at all costs, though.

Also, go downtown & play at Binions to taste the olde-world Vegas. The WSOP was held there, amazingly, until a few years back.

Do NOT go "off-strip" at nights, it's the second most dangerous poker City on earth if you wander off-strip at night.

    Enjoy.

    Is pokerbcity the most dangerous?
He's "robbed" many a player of their chips and cash.

Have fun, I went in October and had a blast!

Pretty much every casino has 2-3 tourneys a day.

I played a few at the stratosphere where I was staying but twas a bit bingo.  I bubbled both times!

Play at Caesers Palace....best value for money for sure! Tis a great poker room!

Barcelona - it's "no contest"! If you cash, you get mugged. Been like that for years.

Good Luck in Vegas. I can't imagine for one moment that you are the sort of chap who would venture off-strip. Hardly.

Nicest card room - Probably Wynn or Ceasars (buy ins can be a bit steep though)
Softest - Tropicana (very soft cash tables, smells a bit of wee though)
