my name is not John. I took the name from one of the cargo cults/religions from the Pacific, specifically, Tanna Island. The islanders are waiting for my return, bearing gifts. So any chip donations for the Islanders, see me at the tables.

Well...I'm not married and I don't look like a duck!

When I was signing up for the first time to a different site , I couldn't think of a name...it was around easter and I was eating an easter egg at the time. My mum had bought me and my boyfriend matching eggs shaped like ducks called Mr and Mrs Duck so my boyfriend suggested I call myself that!
    Very happy with my name.

    :D

FWIW, I play on other sites under the alias 'abibighand'.

My mate used to date a girl called Abi. One new years eve a few years ago, after a few shandies, he showed us a home video on his mobile. She appeared to have quite a large hand.

Tikay, is that sarcasm that I detect?! ;)

mine is after a racehorse I once named and part owned.

He was out of a French mare by Vaigley Great and was a grey so vaigret rhymes with Maigret.

Absolutely not. Some folks, I always look forward to reading their posts, as they are constructed with what appears to be care & aforethought. Yours are generally laconic & very funny indeed.

Think you recently Posted a corker on "Top of the Posts", & I commented on that, too.

Take it at face value bud.

Mine came from the Harry potter books I was reading at the time. (10 yrs ago) I first used it on another site which I better not mention but now use it as a habit on poker sites I sign up to.

    My real name is Peter

Mines a bit geekish. I'm a scifi nut and love stargate. So my name and SG1 is the name of the team in Stargate SG1.
