Fantasy UKPC 6-Max League
A few people have asked me about running this for the UKPC and I’ve been a little reticent as the number of Sky players in the event will represent such a small percentage of the overall field which will make scoring points really difficult, however I’ve decided to give it a go with a couple of small tweaks to the usual rules and format.
The rules are pretty simple – Pick a team of ten players and nominate one of these players as your team captain.
I’ve made the teams 2 players bigger since last time, which will hopefully give more chance for people to score points.
At least eight of your players must be Sky players and selected by their Sky alias from the tournament lobby. New for this event, you may also select up to two ‘wildcard’ players who can be literally any player in the entire world (I’d suggest checking they are at least playing the event first though!). Please select wildcards by their real world name, not poker alias.
*It is allowable to pick a wildcard as your team captain should you choose.
**You do not have to choose a wildcard, if you wish you can simply select 10 Sky players from the lobby.
Points will be awarded based on players finishing in the cash paying positions in the tournament Assuming 20 places get paid points will be awarded from 1-20 as follows:
20th – 1 point
19th – 2 points
18th – 3 points
.
.
.
1st – 20 points
For every team member that makes the final table a bonus 5 points will be awarded*.
If one of your players wins the event, you will be awarded a bonus 10 points (*this is not cumulative with the final table bonus).
All base points (before bonuses are applied) scored by team captains will be doubled.
The winning team will be the one with the Highest cumulative score for all ten players.
To enter, simply add your team selections to this thread, a list of current tournament entrants can be seen below.
Entries, substitutions / changes will be accepted up to 11.00am on Tuesday 12th August. Please post any amendments as additional posts on the thread (do not amend your original post or I will not see it).
The entry list posted below will be finalised as of 11.00am on Tuesday 12th August, no corrections will be made after that time, it is up to you to check that your team is listed correctly and inform me on this thread if not.
