Never known someone so obsessed with profile 'likes'
I gave yours a 100% boost when I recommended you. Tried to take it back but it wouldn't let me. Was most disgruntled.
You disappear again soon don't you?
Or was it all a calculated attempt to get into TOTP?

Yeah, what Jac said... you're all right Malcolm.

I'll buy you a pint at the next SPT.

Spending Sunday evening trawling through various sites to find the right travel insurance. Literally living the dream! :(

Kinda fortunate in that I'm covered with my bank for the first 31 days....but its a bit of a grey area after that. All the companies want to know an end date (obviously), but I'm not in a position to give them one. Be sods law that I'll get covered until the end of January, and end up busting my leg on Feb 2nd. Or get covered until like April, and then decide I wanna come home by November. I know it's important though, and shall be suitably covered.

Majorca was nice. Stayed in Cala Millor, a very pleasant area with a huge long beach. Unfortunately the weather wasn't brilliant, and with it being just a 4 night trip, chances to lay down on the sand and do buggger all were limited. The sea was great. I do enjoy a nice clear, rock free water to just lie in and let the hangover wash away. Can't do that in Scarborough, end up wrapped round a shopping trolley ;)

Might be able to squeeze in some poker tomorrow, then it's a big football day on Saturday, and Sunday shall be spent packing (be that packing to take with me or packing to dump at home).

Oh, staying in a reformed brewery for my token night in Stockholm. Hic! Though having been to Scandinavia a couple of times and seen the prices, think I'll be on water.

    Tap, not bottled.

I went to Norway to see the Northern Lights.
Yup, prices are high. I kind of like the odd drink but on this holiday i looked forward to my 1 pint a night. At £7 a pint I wasn't gonna get pisssed too often

Really fighting the urge to have a last hurrah with the Roller tonight. It's ridiculous, as it's £110 that could be spent on much better things whilst travelling, and I have to be up at 5 ish tomorrow to catch a 6.15 train to Manchester airport.

    But its sooooooo tempting......

Over and out from me. Play nice and run well. If someone could collate all the hilarious threads in one place, to peruse at my leisure on my return, feel free :)

You'll be sorely missed here Mr H, look forward to yoor return, the Commuunity will be poorer without you.

There are some threads I just cant reply on - "I lost with aces 97 times on the bounce, sort it out Sky", "the big stacks always win the all-ins" etc, - but I always had a quiet roffle at your replies.

I think this is a bit of a myth - the popular places are all off the scale cost wise, but as soon as you venture off the beaten tracks there are lots of places where you can drink for more like £3 a pint. And there never seems any issue with sneaking in whisky-filled hipflasks to night clubs.

That said, with Scandinavian girls you don't really need the drink so much anyway as beer goggles are somewhat redundant over there.

Have a fantastic trip fellow Outlaw... pretty sure you leave behind a lot of very jealous poker players!!
