I'm heading down today to play the UKPC mini tomorrow and just booked a hotel at the stage hotel - it's about 10 minutes from nottingham station. Was wondering if anyone was staying at/near this hotel and wants to share a cab to the casino tonight?
Hi Tennis Bloke, Most folks are at Holiday Inn or Premier Inn, both of which are on Castle Marina. Your seat for tomorrow is sorted. Posted by Tikay10
Yeah I figured most would be staying there just wanted to see if there was anyone else that was closer to central Nottingham! edit: Thanks as well for sorting the seat! Will I be able to go down tonight and pay for it then?

Up to you, but that works fine by me.
If you want to sort it tonight, come see me, I'm the devilishly good looking dude, my work station is on the top row, right at the back.
Pretty sure there is a cheapo Mega Sat to the Mini at the club tonight too, with 10 deats guaranteed. Worth a shot, surely?
It's a small, clean, family run affair and is only a five minute drive from the cardroom as well (...I wasn't drinking...). At about £40 a night, it's great value too. I won't be there this week, so you can have my bed

I might give it a shot although I hate buying in to satelltes and then buying in anyway - just seems like spending more un-neccesary money on it, even though that's a ridiculous notion cause the satellite should be profitable!!
I'm not going to be able to buy in tonight (at least not until 2am in the morning at the earliest if I'm still at the casion) because I had a card withdrawal limit which I've just extended today but won't go through till tomorrow (2am)
@ Slip: Yeah I stayed there last time Sky held an SPT last year.

Hi, yeah that's fine, thanks. Just arrived here now at the hotel. Was planning on walking from the station but being hopeless with directions and no idea which way out of the station led to where the map showed I needed to go on my phone I gave up and got a cab. Good job as it's now thunder & lightening outside! Which I'd still be stuck in if I'd decided to walk.
