Does that make it a straight heads-up battle to spin £500 into £50k?
I know there will be lots more runners by the time all is said and done, but do they have a minimum entry number for events in order to mitigate the worst case scenario for overlay?
Or would the event potentially kick off with heads up and just wait for the late reg players to join the table(s)?

when 115 of you arrive on Thursday a lot of you will be interviewed by Laura Cornelius, who has the microphone and 15 cameramen in tow, already Here's the background. Still time to get the media training necessary to kick-start that career in front of the camera "well, um, you know, i had Aces and, um, they re-raised, er and, um I got it in and, er, well, um..." could be worse
"Dude, I sand bagged this donkey, when I spiked trip kings on the turn. I check raised him all in, and he got felted."
The Omaha started a 1pm so the room has now filled up with the riffling of chips across three different UKPC Six Max Events
a £500 Omaha guaranteed at £50,000 on a Tuesday afternoon always looked one of the shakier guarantee risks of the week, and it has started with 24 runner who I have listed below
late entry is until 6.40pm and one re-entry is allowed so hopefully we will get close. i will keep an eye on this competition too, though probably not tikay until he gets down below 10x bb finds Aces double suited and decides to play a hand
