I asked TK a while ago while I seem to do ok and have won a few PLO8 tournies, but crash and burn in PLO.
He said he could not see why that should be so. Since then I have played in The FOSP tournies I have crashed yet again in the PLO, but won The PLO8. Does Jamie have any ideas why as it does not seem logical to me.
Been a great show fellas (bar that poor bloke missing his flush draw in the Sit and Go final hand).
Loved Gazza's call versus Style in the big cash hand...would Tikay REALLY have called there?
Quick Q for Jamie: I enjoy playing most forms of poker(cash,MTT and S&Go, even some PLO cash) and I tend to have a mixture of tables open across the different disciplines when playing. I know Jamie mainly concentrates on cash games nowadays but did he ever used to mix up his cash,MTT and S&Go's during a session and if not why not? Basically I'm wondering if I'm losing any slight edge I may or may not have by playing games with different ranges all at the same time?
BTW...best analyst since Paul Action Jackson...fact!!
In one of the highlight hands of the 8-9pm hour, there was a huge 3 way all in pre flop KK vs AK vs 55. What was the starting hand which started off all the madness made by the player in the UTG+1 position?
I like the discussion on multi tabling, a number of years ago I used to play multi tables the maximum was usually around 20 playing full tables limit, but my confort level was 16. As i played 6 max NL this dropped. As I play for fun now, I will mix different diciplines and play cash tournies S&g's etc at the same time. If I mix I find any more then 8 to 10 is hard work. Is this too many as I have to switch my head so to speak ?
Hi guys Great show and very helpful. Tikay, there's a documentary on BBC Scotland on Sunday or Monday evening at 7.30 pm about how the Forth rd bridge was built. Onwards and upwards Posted by Gollygosh
