Glad to hear your doc is not too concerned Tom - I'm sure if he was he'd have you under hospital arrest :)  (with all those lovely nurses!!).

Take care and keep up the diary - the good the bad and the ugly - prob the most read thread on Sky ever

Glad the doc doesn't appear concerned.

FOR THOSE OF A NERVOUS DISPOSITION LOOK AWAY NOW.

I have had that procedure. You get a numbing gel so dont feel it go in. It's not painful but a bit toe curling kind of discomfort as they have a look around.

In fact your diary encouraged me to go to a doctor rather than ignore blood from down below.

I got an all clear - sort of, nothing of the serious nature, ended up having a minor op.

    Morning Tom.

It just goes on & on, doesn't it? And yet, somehow, with humour & self-deprecation, you somehow face & beat every challenge thrown your way.

I come on this forum every day to see petty complaints, Freeroll moaners, the site is always breaking down, this that & the other. They don't know they have lived, do they?

Best diary on here, & it's not even close, you are an inspiration to every one of us.

PS - Your wife & family are not too shabby in the hero/ine department either, are they?

Tom better to get it over and done with, the discomfort you may feel might be a relief at the end of it at least you will get to know what's wrong either way. Sending lots of healing hugs. Stay strong, you are amazing. xx

I expect even the most ardent of diary haters would have to agree. Nothing egotistical to see here.

    Good Morning Mr.K.
There are a few moans that's for sure, seems that's the nature of the beast in a poker forum, life stuff probably gets dealt with between closed doors, I am the type to "put it out there" which really helps me, folk are different and I'm sure some of the moaners have their own issues to deal with on a daily basis but prefer to be private about it,my best wishes to all.
As far as the wife and family, nail on head there, my wife is my heroine, and I am so proud of my kids, I really couldn't face this alone and my good lady picks me up when I'm down, kicks my butt when I'm being too soft, generally she is the Rock of the family, I hope I am there for her when she is wanting, she tells me I am, I love her so much.

    Hi tom ,

Ive just caught up on your diary ,  sorry to hear there have troubles.

Great choice on the Civic, I have one.

Your humour is spot on, if someone doesnt get it, they are lacking.

One issue , why are you pretending to be 60 ?

:) Hi Charlie, Son is loving "his" Civic, he took me to Grosvener Casino a few weeks ago and actually drove sensibly.
As far as the age thing is concerned,it was a cunning plan to get a free bus pass (Apparently you don't get it at 60 doh.) and to lull these poker types into thinking I'm a bit doddery and re-raise my 2x raises, thing is..I never bluff :)
Hope you are well and work is still flooding in,good to see you back posting again.
    Have a great weekend.

Well, I have 2 hospital appointments coming up, one to measure flow rate, tother to do the important camera work. Still have blood coming from where it probably shouldn't :(
My darling daughter has returned home, we now have a full house...and a pug :)
Signed up to a premiership outfit on fb, learning lots just by reading, am not in a fit state to post much at present ,cheers me up though.
Went to IKEA this morning, nice drive up, came out with bedroom furniture for dear daughter just as heavens opened, spent most of afternoon putting drawers and stuff together, riveting huh.
Played mini tonight, AA v 55 my exit hand, I must learn to fold the b things :)
Made FT of deep stack, fin 6th, must do better.
Loving the Olympics, fab what Great Britain have achieved. It seems a tad half a...ssed at times though, especially when the velodrome was "fixed" when a rider came off and damaged floor by affixing that well known 21st century technology -gaffer tape :)
    Have fun.x

People are strange at times, I get the whole folk are different bit....but. I cannot get my head round why people have Botox , my brothers wife is constantly posting stuff like " just had my monthly Botox, now getting ready for a p.... Up with the girls"
Makes my skin crawl, I may be getting grumpy in my latter years, I may have posted a link to how poisonous the aforementioned is....I may have been told off by my good lady again .
Her daughter of 23 has the whole trout pout going on, as she follows her mothers example, so sad.
I suppose I better concentrate on my own issues.

Don't often post these days but do the odd spot of browsing.

This is one of the places I do pop by from time to time, find your 'story' very inspiring, your honesty is very humbling and the style of writing....making such raw topics witty is a real gift, your writing is excellent.

Makes some of the other diaries on here look distinctly average : )

Agree with the absurd obsession of modern day 'beauty' regimes. Some are just obscene.

Never understood the selfie craze, but what's with all the blokes pouting, posing with duck like lips isn't attractive on a woman...but on a man!

Anyhow hope your tests come back with good news, why not do something to take your mind off it like IKEA furniture construction : )

Hope you found all the correct screws in the end, if not have a look around the forum, there's plenty loose here.
