I did the Show last night, & after the NFL stuff, we followed the 794 runner Turbo Tuesday Open to it's conclusion.

It was won by.......

We picked the late stages up, with 12 runners left, & I was pleasantly surprised, if not a little shocked, to see Maxy still in, albeit with about 3 Bigs or somesuch.

Don't think he lost a single hand after that.

    Maxally, bested 793 other players.

    Who'd have thunk?

All joking aside, am delighted for Alan, really.

Been a pretty good month for him, too. As I'm sure many of you know, he had his biggest ever cash during UKPC, sort of, & last night he scooped another £1,880.

I had a little fun at his expense last night - he'd expect nothing less - but I also said, & I meant it, this will mean a great deal to Alan, & I'll be amazed if the main beneficiary is not his lad.

Well done Alan, you've been here a long time, & I'm genuinely chuffed for you.

Well done Alan! Always nice to take down a main event and still be in bed for 12!

Next time though, "last longer please", every little helps!

    Congrats again, enjoy it.

    Cheers Tikay! Appreciate this thread.

There was a lot of hands/dynamics missed by the show which is why some of the hands played looked a bit unorthodox and 'probably' not played correctly. There was a lot of trapping going on and then shorties not getting involved when it made sense for them with AT. Anyway, I know I didn't play a solid game.....but like Stoke last w'end, sometimes the smaller teams win by playing their way over the bigger boys!

Oh....couldn't do the last longer last night as always go out on a Thursday night. Perhaps tokens issued for the value of would be better going forward to eliminate this and make it easier all round for allocating prizes. #sortitoutsky

Of all the days I chose yesterday afternoon to record part 1 of a 'how to post the tournament results' video tutorial for Maxally who'll be covering for me during an upcoming holiday.

Bizzarely I then had to record part 2 this morning with Alan's own alias in the most desirable spot of them all.

Karma for volunteering to cover for me?

    Congratulations :)

Thank you. FWIW, I was very worried about you (as I know how good a player you are) but for you to come on thread and say that, means a lot. Cheers.

Falcao playing for Manchester United. Nude photos of Jennifer Lawrence. Maxally winning a main event on Sky.

Three things I never expected to see this week, in increasingly implausible order.

    ;-)

    Well done Alan.

I agree.....i think the only way to properly celebrate would be a show dedicated to these 3 topics.

    Can you sort it Rich?

Oh and congrats Maxally, and Tikay etc on the show......love a bit of NFL :)
