Situation is this:- L4, £1.15 DYM Blinds 75/150.
I had QQ's and raised going rate upto 300. Folds until VILLAIN who is CL and just calls.
Flop is A28, and VILLAIN Shoves into me. MY Question here, is that the CL didn't raise pre-flop, just limped - I had a feeling that with an A on the board, (Just 1 over-card to my QQ's) I felt that this was suspcious of a set.
What would you have done here? Was I weak to fold?

i think he probably has AX so the fold is fine.
it's horrible when we have invested chips in the pot & have to fold.
maybe allin pre-flop would be better, & AX folds AK might call.
don't think you did anything wrong Gary..
maybe allin next time with QQ might be better.

Limp call donk shove looks more flushy to me.Would expect a big ace/set to check raise.
Don't hate the fold as long as you realise any hand you are playing from now on is for your stack(12 bb's probably soon to be 8)

This is where notes help a lot.

If no info on player, I'm ok with the fold, but try to make your standard raise slightly lower (2.5 - 2.8 @ 50/100 is fine).

    Shove pre. Easy game sometimes!

    As played fold is good

With 15 bigs I wouldn't be shoving at this stage and the guy has only limped so I doubt very much we will get a call if we jam although if we raise he is far more likely to call.  Raise size is fine Gary, could even go to 350-375.  With no reads on villain then as played, fold. Although this will quite often be a flush draw you cannot risk the call given that some will do this play with a weak ace.

It's a low-priced DYM. He probably has Ax, and even if he doesn't, the flush draw is there. He could have a set.

    It's absolutely a fold here.

Easy fold for me unless notes tell me otherwise.

As doubleAA says raise bigger pre I'd go 400. So many players are so loose passive at these lower levels once they've put anything in the pot (by limping) they're not letting go without seeing a flop. Always go for as much value as possible.

I think the more interesting question is what if he checks the flop what`s your move now?!

    Fold for me.

We can find a better spot.
