Macapaca The Fish Diary - Starts Monday 22nd September

Hi all, I have been playing poker here on sky poker for a number of years now and done ok, but for the past year I have been life broke and busto and not been playing much only the odd main and mini here and there.

I am doing this diary of my nights mtts on sky poker to help me keep focused and want to by the end of 2014 from today make £5k profit playing just MTTs, HUSNGs and DYMs - NO CASH!

I have recently had some coaching and feel good about my game.

I have been back on the virtual felt a couple of weeks now, but am starting this diary and quest from today.

I will be recording all of my mtt results and profits and losses each day.

This will also keep me focused and away from those deadly cash games when I have had a few to drink and think im durrrr and start firing up 200nl on tilt hehe.

I will be playing around 4-8 mtts each night on sky poker. so gl meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

    5k in 3 months from just sky mtts, you're gonna have to heater pretty hard to do that!

    How did you come to go busto? I remember you having a spell of winning for fun and weren't you 'King Of The Hill' for about a fortnight solid? Thought you were on the verge of sacking work and going pro? ;)

    The business another casualty of our long recession?

    Anyway hope you are back on track in life and in pokerz and run well!!!

    Hi maca

    Just to put some figures on it, for a 5k profit over 95 days means you need to win an average of £52 per night. Assuming the following roi's heres the daily buy in value of mtts you need to enter:

    Roi
    20%       £260
    30%       £173
    40%       £130
    50%       £104

    Hi mate, thanks for the post.

    I never went busto via poker tut tut that would never happen lol

    I went life busto as I was a 1 man band self employed electrician who took too much work on as im ambitious and was doing really well for like 18 months which was great but took on a couple of projects too many and I got done by 2 builders who went bump on me and just couldn't pay which in turn put me under and in serious debt and life stress, anyway don't want to go too much in to it but from this I got in to a lot of debt.

    I am now back on track and raring to go.

    Regards to king of the hill, I loved it from a initial £7.50 I made like £2k just playing hu battles where I won 13 or 14 nights in a row which was defo wiiiiiiiiii and in the same time I won the 9pm  £55bh 3 times and 3 other ft which was good, so I hope to heater like this soon in to this challenge.

    Im glad to be back playing poker again and look forward to completing this as £5k is very optimistic but hey if mattbates can do it then surely any1 can lol
