You are in a queue for a late night bus. Looking like a 30 minute wait given how long the queue is. a guy pushes into the queue near you. What do you say. 1. After you 2. Oy mate the queue starts back there 3. heads up for rollz i tried #2. Unfortunately he was taller, wider, younger and fitter than me. By several multiples in each dimension. He did decide to push in a bit further behind me instead but still. But what can you do? And yes he will be getting off at the same stop. Posted by GELDY
Well there are not many people in this world taller, wider, younger, and fitter than I am, so it's not a problem I've ever had to deal with.
You are in a queue for a 50p/£1 table in your local casino. Looking like a 30 minute wait given how long the queue is. a guy pushes into the queue near you. What do you say. 1. After you 2. He did decide to push in a bit further behind me instead but still. But what can you do? And yes he will be sitting in the seat next to me.

Ahh I see - well that answers Mr Dohhhhhhh's question.
i remember hearing an apocryphal story about a young lad pushing into a long bus queue and the elderly lady at the front allowing everyone now behind the lad go in front of her, and they in turn then allowing the elderly lady to go in front of them hence preserving the original order. aesop for the modern age. very british solution too.

Yes, very good, except I think Mr Geldy is in Barcelona right now. So perhaps a Spanish solution, does Juan think?

nope
no irony
no sarcasm
just some compliments to everyone who took the time to improve the content all thrown together with a dash of IDCU.
Maybe you're not used to receiving a compliment unless steeped in pathos.

I do love a bit of pathos with my exchanges, it's true.

Slippy prefers compliments steeped in Athos or Aramis instead
