Lifetime acheivement award.   Ross Jarvis.  Now he's going to become a Father his life, as he knew it, is over :)
Luckbox of the year.   Richard Orford for winning the £2.20 @ 2.20.  How can the internet go down for 2 hours everywhere apart from Orfords house!
Best forum contributor.   All the admins who work to make the Monday night DTD the amazing tourny it is.
Sky poker performance of the year  Scotty77 for taking down both the main and the mini

Many congrats to Rossmc for taking down the roller on Sunday.  You can afford that season ticket to St James Park now mate ;)

    Last longer please :)

I remember I met Liam a while ago... it was a short meeting, I got drawn against him in the first round of the APAT HU tourney at DTD. I remember he said something like 'you should stop bluffing so much'.... probably some decent advice I should have taken.

Sky Poker Performance of the Year  - The one that sticks in my mind was not too long ago, TommyD somehow managed to win the Mini, win both £55 bounty hunters and finish top 10 in the main all in 1 night!!

824987777Can you review the above hand please?

    How did I play it?

How's my bet size on river? I thought if I bet too much he would put me on an ace because of my min 3bet on turn.

    Thanks

    hand request from the turbo

    Hand History #824984544

    Q. was i correct making the check raise on the flop or do i need to just call, also have i got to bet bigger on the turn to just take it down incase a danger card does come which did happen leaving me concerned about kQ or maybe aces chasing.

From Mark Sumner. Hi Laura and Ross. Great show as usual. It's my first time of asking for a hand to be analysed. Should I have been braver with this as it is a Turbo. Hand Number is 824989341. Kind Regards.

On the subject of adrenaline and heart rates. Which well known poker player do you think would be best at hiding their emotions if all players were connected to a heart rate monitor?

They could have a prize for lowest average heart rate to reach the final table.

Best forum contributor nomination for Craigcu12

He's kept one of the longest standing diaries in the forum showing his ups and downs playing low stake cash and tournaments.

Also strongly involved in all other areas of the forum.

Also did you know that roulette was invented by a monk who then was driven insane and broke trying to find a system to beat it?

Orford for an award anyone? Takes it and gives it with a wicked sense of humour. Perfect foil for TK.
