Well hello there you lovely lot!

After avoiding each other for over a year, it appears Karl & myself are now inseparable! We're back tonight for another 5 hours of live poker action on your telly screens, and I don't think there has been THIS much excitement in the Sky Poker studio for ages! Tonight is the night we have all been longing to be a part of, and whether you're in it or not, it's going to make for amazing viewing! YES! It's the PUNTA CANA FINAL!! We will be giving away a grand total of 7 (SEVEN!!!) packages to the Dominican Republic which includes entry into that huge $500,000 GTD main event. 

This is how the show lines up tonight with me & your expert, Mr Karl Mahrenholz:

7pm-8pm - We'll mix between the final table of Thursday's Sky Sports Bounty Hunter & the Punta Cana Semi Final

8pm-9:15pm - We'll show live coverage of the 15K Super Roller

9:15pm-Midnight - The excitement of the Punta Cana FINAL!!! We'll be showing as many hands as we can from the highly anticipated final

And as always, we want YOU to be part of the show so send us your questions for Karl, your hand requests from any of our televised tables, and ofcourse your general poker bants! With all these packages that we're giving away to Dominican Republic tonight, we thought we'd have a bit of fun and see how creative you lot can be! So in a couple of sentences (that are hopefully readable and not too rude for TV) tell us what your 
PERFECT POKER PACKAGE would be... I'm talking: 

LOCATION
TOURNAMENT
& ANY ADDED EXTRAS (ahem!)

Keep it clean ;) and our fave will win a seat to Monday's Main Event. We'll also give away some Turbo Open seats to our other favourite posts of the night.

    why is the£110 roller 10000 chips and 15 min blinds  and the £770 only 4000 chips and 12min blinds

    Hi. Always good to see you both on the TV, one for the beauty and one for the analysis. I will leave that to you two to decide which is which. :)

    My perfect poker package? Has to be a seat to the WSOP in Vegas. It maybe predictable but it is the poker dream is it not? As for extra's? Maybe to share a room with Tikay? A great incentive to stay in the tournament and away from Mr Concrete himself.

    Nice hand man, it was the second nuts into the nuts the previous hand which cost me.  River was sorta close but might just have been a cold one.

    Good evening Jules. Looking lovely tonight... Karl, you're not my type but hi anyway.


    The preferred location for my poker tournament would be the viewing level of the CN Tower in Toronto, overlooking Lake Ontario on a bright Summer day. Cracking view.

    Second choice would be the tower at Forton Services near Lancaster on the M6. :-)

    The tournament itself would be a women only tournament because they're more fun and the conversation is better. I'd be that one guy that buys in and everyone hates... 


    Added extras?

    A buffet would be nice. A free bar is irrelevant as a teetotaller... but I'm sure the folks on the rail would appreciate it.


    Missed most of the show tonight, sadly. I'm sure it's been great, though.

    Enjoyed the show until you showed my terrible play in the Punta Cana final

    My A flush versus Gamesjames very obvious full house.......not sure I can ever play on this site again after calling that....so bad

    For my wifes 50th birthday I took her to the restaurant in the CN tower in Toronto. I do not like hights either, and I stood on that glass floor for about 1/10th of a second

    My perfect poker tornie would be on cruise ship,3 day event ,stopping to play at 3 top european casino's. With the winners staying on for a world cruise, and the last stop, the chance to play in the aussie millions.......dream on...

    I've always wanted to go to see the giant tortoises on the Galapagos Islands, so let's have my dream tournament there.

    I'd make it a PLO8 event, with all my on-line friends from the PLO8 DYMs on Sky, so the likes of Tikay, Macacgirl, churchy, erard, HMS Amazon, etc. Ross can play too as I've heard he knows nothing about PLO8 so that's some dead money in the pot straight away.

    As for "extras", well, the rest of the Sky people can come on the holiday too but will have to do some work for their ticket. Jules, Laura & Anna can be dealers, and Karl looks like he would be a tough but fair floor manager. As for Richard Orford, well someone needs to bring us hard-working players & dealers some drinks and nibbles, don't they?
