Punta Cana - a BIG day ahead

The Punta Cana Final takes place @ 9.15 tonight, & will be covered on Ch 861, all being well.

The Punta Cana Freeroll takes place @ 5.30 as usual, with today's Semi-Final (£170, in in 5 go through) earlier than usual @ 7.15.

    In tonight's Punta Cana Final there are 7 Packages (no more, no less) up for grabs, each worth £3,500.

    So if there are more than 35 runners tonight, the "excess cash" will be paid out based on finishing position.
     
    e.g. If there was 40 runners 1st wins a Punta Cana package +£1,295 cash, 2nd wins a Punta Cana package +£770 Cash etc. 

    N.B. The pay-outs will clearly be visible to all customers on the “blinds and prizes” section of the tournament lobby once Registration closes.

    The Punta Cana Freeroll is actually at 3.15pm today as the quarter-final is at 5.15pm.

    Can't wait, managed to luck my way into the semi's from £1.80. Don't normally play anything higher than the mini so definitely not used to seeing the big names in a tourney i'm in. Going for the fairytale finish. Good luck all an I'll see you in the final hopefully.

    Good luck to you, I made semi through free roll to quarter final, I have free rolled to wsop before so it can be done :)

    Wow, it's just wonderful to see so many of you "regular guys" in with a shot at one of these packages.

    WP to all that won their seats, and vv unlucky to Rose for such a brutal bubble.

    It seems a real shame that there was £3.5k of excess after the 7 packages but no 'bubble money'. Even if they couldn't give a package to 8th because of the need to have things booked in advance etc, maybe like £2k for 8th and £1.5k for 9th would have been a small consolation. Obviously I don't think it could be the full £3.5k to 8th cos that would create a situation with 8 left where everyone would probably be going nuts to be the next person to bust.
