Holdem Freerole for a Omaha event?

Call me mad but why are we playing  holdem tourny for a Omaha event?

I am sure that most people will not have a clue how to play once it opens up

A Omaha freerole would of been much better - people can learn and would open the great game up to more!

I think the structures of these freerolls are much too slow. 

3 minute blinds is good.

Don't mind 5 min blinds but could do with loosing a few levels at 20/40 to 90/180 and sorting out 1.25k/2.5k to 2k/4k to 3k/6k levels.
