Really pleased with the number of entries, especiallky as it includes a lot of players who have rarely, or never, posted on the Community before. Stick around!
Big thanks to Chris for his help.
The Thread will close at 7pm, & NO MORE ENTRIES will be accepted after that.
Good luck all.
We might just do this tomorrow, too, really chuffed with the number of entrants.
So, you had to guess the total Night One UKOPS Prize Pools, with the Guarantees being set at £54,500.
I can't easily find the EXACT totals, as I can only assess them from GaryQQQ's Results Thread, currently being looked after by MAXALLY, which is HERE
That excluded the "Micro", but I can see from Sharkscope that it got 706 Entries, so that is £2,118.
Its a bit rough & ready, but I think the totals of all 6 UKOPS Events was as follows....
Micro - £2,118
High Roller - £36,000
Main - £31,600
Mini - £5,142 (this was a rebuy, so I'm not 100% certain of the exact number, but £5,142 seems close enough).
Challenger £2,040
Sidey - £7,050
That lot comes to £83,950.
Nobody got the exact figure, but the highest answer was "Dubmaster" who guessed £81,179.
I'll leave this until midday in case there are any objections or errors, but if not, I'll arrange for "Dubmaster" to have Free Entry into tonight's UKOPS XI 9-Max Challenger @9pm.
The Stewards investigated the winning entry which was received as "£80,1971".
Scouse-Red then typed....
"I'm assuming it's £80.179"
Which was a reasonable assumption, there was obviously an extra digit inserted in error. Chris, however, transposed "197" & "179".
In the view of the Stewards, this made no difference to the outcome, as the next nearest answer was a lesser number. So unless there are further objections on other matters.....
I did that competition yesterday on my own initiative, never asked the Office or anything (I'm good at spending their money....), but if we are to repeat it, I really think I need their approval first, so I sent a note Upstairs first thing this morning to sort of test the water. Let's see what they say.
I do have a sort of informal budget to give away odd prizes here & there, as I see fit, but if we did this one every night of UKOPS XI, it comes to a few bob (8 x £22 = £176)) so best to ask first.
Pretty sure we will do it again next Sunday, but best wait & see about doing it nightly.

Morning Tikay. Sorry, I forgot to include the micro originally in the results from last night. I have now upated the thread to include it, and can confirm the figure quoted above, is correct.

Ahh, thanks very much Alan, appreciated.
What a great thing that thread is.
Well done on your UKOPS Omaha cash last night. I thought I was king of the "nurse a short-stack" thing, but you had a bowl for at least 2 hours, & somehow hung in. Good fold with the Aces, too, when I lead out with 2 pairs, the flush draw, & a buinch of back doors.

Cheers. I get some stick from my 'team mates' about being a bit too nitty at times but have had enough bubbles in my time to challenge the aero production line. Was glad I cashed in that omaha plus I enjoyed playing it.
Also played the Mini Rebuy (!) and only took the add on with no rebuys. Just finished outside the cash in that one though.

Good morning.
The thread is now UNLOCKED again.
What an amazing number of entries, thank you very much.
Special thanks to Chris, (Scouse_Red) for all his help, I would not have had time to do all the work he did.
Excluding my Entry, which was not valid (I was just demonstrating how to enter) we had 85 Entries.
Well done all.

RESULT STANDS, WEIGHED IN
I'm not yet sure there will be one today, but there MAY be.
If so, there will be a NEW THREAD for it.

Give me half an hour, & I'll set it up on a new Thread.
