Probably check/call or fold flop. Easy fold as played though. :-)

On reflection looks pretty standard I think, though my instincts suspected foul play, but I guess I got to give him credit for his re-raise.

I think your raise is not that great to be honest, its a flop that will hit him hard so either check call and hope for a lovely turn but then again we may have dirty outs aswell so nothing wrong with check folding at all

if you think your hand is good then why would you raise?

i think you should be betting the flop and if he raises you then you can fold, but check reraising just folds out hands you beat and gets calls from hands that crush you, at best you are getting him to fold a mid pair, but no need for big risks like that so early on

    b/f or c/f flop. Probably c/f mostly.

    B/f AQ with a club

    C/f this combo imo.

His bet on flop indicated to me a possible flush/straight draw, so my check-raise was to push him off such a hand, though I think I needed to bet more (how much more?).
So in theory he should fold if i raise enough and if he calls it will give me a better idea where he's at. Also I have two overs and a gut-shot.

Although I think I could have achieved this by just betting on the flop, but i don't usually like betting OOP as he could always make a play on me and I would have to fold 99% of the time.

Thanks for the feedback guys, really helpful.
