or at least you could prior to 9 June 2009, based on the code that showed up when forum posting was broken yesterday.
anyone remember what they were like, as I hadn't found the forum at that time?

CB SLS-6328 9 June 2009 removed the 'emotions' theme_advanced_buttons1 and plugins options 
oh, also anytime you post on the forum the software refers to the post as being dirty - tyvm

    Ha!

    As it happens, I don't ever recall being able to use emoticons (aka "smileys") here. Quite a shame, really, it would have saved thousands of rucks & barneys, & even mobile phones have smileys these days.

    Tikay uses a smiley (frowny?) on the forum. don't blame you for not remembering Teeks. They were only available for your first three weeks and few tens of posts, and for the next 23,000+ posts you've had to do without.

    I honestly don't remember Sky Poker having them, but they clearly did.

    I do seem to have a vague recollection that they caused some sort of techie prob with the Forum.

    I had a problem with the forum yesterday where when I clicked on a topic it would show up blank. Sky CC said it was a problem at my end with a disconnecting diode w/e that is but today it's back working fine. Wonder if the 2 are related somehow!

    Yeah I've only just been able to get back on the forum. Played up a bit Sunday night then nothing all day yesterday.

    There is no emoticon for how I'm feeling.

    I had the exact same problem. I could load the forum homepage fine, with all the sub-categories and the last post showing, but when I clicked on ANY of the sub-categories all I got was a blank white page.

    Happens to me every now and again
