For Xmas dinner I'd invite both Ross & Neil Channing.

Ok, I'd be out of my depth with the conversation.

but on the plus side, with those two yapping for England
I'd get first dibbs on the Turkey, brussel sprouts and roast tatties!

    My go at a limerick

    Ross's jumper deserves some acclaim
And his poker his usually the same
    But his biggest gaffe yet
    Was folding a set
On the Sky Poker TV Cash Game

on 861 there are some shows
some hit his, and some hit lows
of the presenters anna is the best
while orford he is just a pest
but Ross that jumper is a no-no

Brave or crazy wearing that jumper on set?
Feel sorry for Anna, the wrong side of a big poker sweat.

some think Ross is a mug
    others think he's just smug

Myself, I'msure he won the bet!

Thanks Anna for correcting the typo in my previous limerick. In honour of that, here's your own one

    Presenting glamour girl Anna
Plays her cards in a menacing manner
    She'll win all your dough
    While playing on the show
And correct any poster's bad grammar

(trying to come up with one for some of the other Sky Poker peeps but can't find many sensible rhymes for Mahrenholz!)

Ross Jarvis is seen as quite fit,

He is Sky's very own Brad Pitt,

    Every show he looks fly,

    He's one hunky guy,

But his jumper tonight looks like xxxx

My Limericks are nice on the eyes
Witty & Fun for the wise
    Gonna see Peter Pan
    Next Tuesday so can
You let someone else win the prize

    (unless it's a UKOPS seat!!!)

    Hi Anna and Ross,
I've given this Limerick Malarky a go. Gd luck reading it Anna.

On the Jarvis's jumper was a skier,
Which type he wasn't so clear,
    a question he proposed ,
and a reply I did compose,
Langlaufen the answer I wrote here.

As promised, some limericks for several other Channel 861 regulars

Tikay's got quite a style of his own
As his fashion sense often has shown
    With a burgundy jacket
    That once cost a packet
When Victoria was on the throne!

Orford once tried an audacious bluff
When he tried to make out he was tough
    But his timing's not great
    Four cards to a straight
Is never going to be enough

    Rutter's got an impressive CV
Cashes from Walsall to gay Paree
    But I'm going to bet
    That his biggest score yet
    Was 59th at the WSOP

    American analyst Stapes
Has had many close shaves and escapes
    His quips and remarks
Can be close to the mark
After drinking the product of grapes

All the viewers love to watch Jen
But she's only on every now and then
    Her insight's on the money
    And she's sometimes quite funny
    Like a poker comedienne

    Playing poker with Marigolds
    His agression was quite uncontrolled
When he puts you "all in"
    And you're drawing quite thin
It's about time for a reluctant fold

Ambo Channing is new to the channel
The most talkative man on the panel
    Exercising his jaws
    With barely a pause
Talking poker with almost no flannel

Ross is trying so hard tonight, Anna is just owning him lol. Stapes is the only one who seems to be able to handle her sarcasm and fire back.

    Man up Jarvis :)

    Good show guys.

Thanks for the spot prize for the photo's guys - lots of xmas cheer in this house :)

(PS the snowman has extra skinny legs as he is extentable. He can either be super tall or really small)

    Merry Christmas to you both

Sky Poker's a great place to play
from small stakes you can really make hay
On telly there's Orford the joker
Tikay the wise man of poker
and Anna the dish of the day

Woo just had a nice deep run in the main event, finished 9th for £96.  Even better because I was in for free thanks to winning a seat on the show!  My first decent tournament cash since I started playing on Sky last month, yay :)
