Did a random chap (suspiciously also named John) suggest I should take a spot prize for a tournament tomorrow in his stead?

I'm very grateful and Ben is flattered... but I can't play it either.

In the spirit of nominating other people, give it to the other person that sent in a picture of their dog. I believe it was a chocolate labrador in a santa hat.

    It's like pass the parcel.

My tradition is to go somehwere very rural where the internet hardly works and watch TV and eat tons.

It goes very well until you want to try and 2-table. I'm out now so I'll wish everyone lots of luck and hope for the internet santa to visit overnight.

No snow recently in Blackpool. The salt air, low topography and blustery winds mean we rarely see snow.

    Any more Blackpool information needed?

By the way, earlier Ross suggested I was on his table... but I haven't played tonight. It's a little disturbing to hear that Ross hallucinates or even fantasises about me.

    good evening all great show.

i got the shock of all shocks this christmas.

What happened was my friend give me a poker set, the problem with that is i didn't see it ever getting used as everyone hates me playing and views poker as pure gambling.

I tell my aunty about this and get the biggest of shocks because having been the most anti poker of them all she has offered to give me a game of poker for fun!

Perhaps i'll now prove the point i was making knowing she will play like a fish.

The donkeys do indeed head off to donkey farms over the winter.

All donkeys on Blackpool beach must pass a vet inspection at the start of the season, so they need to be kept in good condition by their owners... or there'll be trouble.

I do have some bad news for you Anna: There is a weight limit for donkey rides so you'd never be able to have a ride.

(The weight limit is actually 50kg so few adults could meet it. It's funnier as a joke about your weight, though)

I'm avoiding responding to the comment about RyRy and I "hooking up".

I am getting more desperate in my old age... so I'll keep my options open.
