Aims for 2015
1. Get back on track for my mission to earn enough through poker to take Mrs P on a carribean holiday 2. Learn to play PL08 properly 3. Defend my 100% record in the 220 at 220 (but only if Rich Orford does the same)
I love the show really and every show I have watched it was a silly challenge and I appreciate all the effort everyone at Sky Poker put into making such a great show.
****...dropped my iPad and then as I bent down to pick it up I saw I was in a hand. I rushed to click fold with 104 off and called. Flopped was 10-high and my 18 bbs went in.
Having a slightly tilting week, a valuable lesson, having yourself all set up to play in a comfortable chair with proper internet and a nice space around you where you are warm and comfortable really helps your poker.
Sorry I can't be called. My phone worked for about 12 seconds today and Skype would mean crashing the internet.
OK so as I'm now out of all of my games for tonight and you refused to grant me a prize for doing nothing, I shall now oblige you with a little more effort on my part.
What were you grateful for in 2014? Being fortunate enough to have great friends and family around me and enjoying some brilliant times with them, all topped off by the news that there will be a mini Slykllist joining the family in May next year (my first).
Your hopes/pokerpredictions/resolutions for 2015?
Resolution - Play the game to enjoy it win or lose, play as much live poker as time, money and life will allow and continue investing time in learning and improving. I've recently started working with a coach and would recommend it to anyone, as Ross was saying earlier, talking to players that are better than you really helps you to understand the game better.
Hopes - Health, happiness and as few sleepless nights as possible
and..... that Ross will join us for our live game in Nottingham on January 31st (and Anna aswell obviously)
Sometimes it is very frustrating........ Openly critiscised on the show earlier for defending with 8 4 off in the big blind, yet when Neil Channing does it with 10 4 and gets knocked out he is unlucky and must have seen something the average person did not pre flop.......
Oh and then again with the J 5......... Wow you guys are biased :-)

I still have a VERY long way to go to make that carribean holiday - so maybe I can bink something from my free mini entry to give the bankroll a nice boost.

I definitely agree it would have been a pretty bad call with 20bbs and 10,4 off in that hand. It was a bit frustrating to missclick and then get knocked-out.
I would say as someone who has been on the show a few times, we don't get any extra time to think about the hands and we don't know any real background on the stuff that has happened before on that table. Sometimes that means we say something one minute and then later think mmm...I may have changed my mind about that one.
