Congratulations to jordz16 who absolutely crushed Day Four of UKOPS to take down the crown of Player of the Festival (which I'm sure will return at UKOPS XIV...) and win the seat to the UKPC in February!

Thanks mate. I have all the results and points, but my original threads weren't accepting the input. I kept being told the service was currently unavailable. Not sure if it's me or the current 'technical climate'... or something else.

I figured the only way to sort it was try to start a new thread.

    Sigh.

Slippy, I've just bumped the thread (it worked fine), is it worth trying again?

    Blame the hack culture, Tikay.

I'll salvage what I can and reboot.

Hi mate. Forum use tip for you.....

When I cover for GaryQQQ on his results thread, and update data on his thread, it does take AGES for it to refresh and upload. It does come up 'error', but the info is there. You have to just keep clicking refresh. It also works better in IE for some reason too.

    Hope this helps.

Hmmm - I've been using FireFox for a while now. Internet Explorer is, well, so last year.

It's frustrating not being able to see what you're doing.

I do understand your frustration. Patience is a virtue. It can take up to 1 min + to update the results page. I think this whole forum platform is well due for an upgrade TBH.

joesman1 has a little breathing room at the top, folks...

...but still plenty of time and events to catch up.

Come on, even I have a few points ;)

VWP especially to the top 5 who have already got at least 2 very high finishes.

I'll echo what Max said on the forum/spreadsheet advice Slip.

IE seems much better at handing the cut/paste from Excel into the forum than other browsers.

Hi Slippy. Good work with this as usual, I know everyone appreciates it.

I think I'm missing a point and a cash from last night. I managed ti fluke my way to 18th in the main, so believe I should have an extra point/cash there.

Cheers mate. Keep it up, and I hope you bink 1 for your efforts.

Such a frustrating day/night! I think I was happy enough with my 6th place finish - exit hand maybe didn't need to happen but pretty standard. The one where I finished 8th I was pretty disappointed after having the chip lead with 14 or so left but then made a dubious raise/call with 77 SB vs BB only to run into jacks. Got back into it and with 8 left the SB min-raised into me - I had AT with ten bigs but then a lot of players had similar stacks. He hadn't been raising much so I should have thought then that he was unlikely to be raise/folding and that his range was probably 44+, A9+, KJ+, maybe QJs too. Against that range I'm 44% so with little to no fold equity I think I should make a tight/exploitive fold.

Oh well. Still in with a shout if I can win an event and FT another!!

    Right you are, sir.

Thanks for the well wishes - had a good chance in the Deepstack yesterday but lost a lot of chips just before I hit the final table.

After the third day of events, there are now three clear leaders.

Still time for that good run though.

I'm ahead of TommyD, so that's something at least... ;)
