This site always subtly hint at people to make new accounts which is obv against the rules of any site, now they're actively recommending you do it, AND saying its with Sky's blessing.

I assume (and hope!) they ain't got permission from you to say this so someone may need to have words...

"Old Sky Poker account not tagged to RTR?

If your account at Sky has been dormant for more than 13 months then you can just create a new one through RTR and your old Sky account will be automatically closed. All with Sky’s blessing!"

    Do other sites do the same thing?

    I have a few dormant accounts. Unfortunately not all of them are phantom66 and not all phantom66 are me so it might take a while to work out what and where they all are. One thing i know for sure is that i havent used any for over 13 months.

    I have contacted Sky regarding this and sent them the relevant newsletter RTR seem to be distributing.  So as to not have something spiral out today I will reclose this, however I expect a response regarding the OP at some point in this thread and for it to be reopened when people wearing formal attire know more.
