Big Money looming in last night's 2.5k Mini and faced with big decision

In 7th or 8th position and just 18 players left in last night's mini and there is some big money at top .
Massive chip leader min raises in c/o and I have 1010 in position on the button. I have 28bb effective stack.

Question 1: Should I call or 3bet here ,or is a call the best option having position ? The question is then does calling encourage the bb to call or even squeeze ?

Question 2: Having made the decision (rightly or wrongly) to call, the big blind just made up.
Flop came down and the bb and original raiser check. I put half size pot bet and BB c.r jams allin.

Under the pressure of the timer and trying to assimilate the range one is up against with the texture of the board is a real test of concentration at this late stage of a tourney.

Question ; Is this a fold or call when you put the possible hands in the equation considering the original pf play  (i still have 22bb)

Only real history available is 3 hands previously there was a 3.5x bb utg raise to 8.7k  and the villain shoved 60k+ and showed QQ.

I'm not fist pumping in love with it, but I think we have to call the shove. This is about as good as it gets when we don't 3bet 10's.

A feasible range I'd give them that we currently beat is A6,46,56,55,77,88,99, and then factor in the obvious draws like any 2 hearts, A4 etc. We are only losing right now to a flopped set and 45. Your hand strength is somewhat under repped as well. In my experience, you'll run into hands like 55 and 77 in this spot way more than a set or straight.

How active has the chip leader been? Assuming they have been raising a decent %age of hands, I'd be looking to 3bet/call it off vs them.

As played I think we have to call but in answer to one of your questions about pre. I think we have to raise. The big moneys up top and we have a hand that is well above big stacks range and we certainly dont want to go multiway. If we run into a bigger hand or lose a race then thats just the way it is in MTTs.

We need to be 3-betting here always given that the c/o is opening with a super wide range. Calling also encourages the blinds to come along with their speculative hands.

As played I think this is an easy call given how disguised your hand is, you're likely up against A6 or a FD, you're ahead way too often here to fold.
