4 bet sizing

Late position with xx, raise 2 1.5, 50 nl, sb 3bets to 5, we 4 bet 9.75 total. Wondering about the 4 bet size as a bluff / value bet.sb and bb are aggro players and 3/4 betis down 2 position button versus sb. I don't know if the button is balanced here with his 4 bet sizing, if not the sb can just 5 bet jam with impunity and win the pot there and then. Whatever way given the 4 bet sizing I don't think there's anyway the sb can fold given the great odds. This wasn't my hand but found the 4 bet sizing really interesting. There is an argument I can think of for using this sizing,which I'll go into layer

    I actually don't mind the 4bet sizing at all (particuarly if it's a bluff). If it is a bluff then the hero has giving himself the best price on it. Less risk = less fold equity required. I might have made it 10.5 personally, however, it would be interesting to know the hero's image in this spot and then we could maybe draw a better conclusion.

    As a general rule, sizings in cash should be in the region of like 3BB >> 9-10BB >>> 20-22xBB (assuming 100BB stacks)

    The sizing is a TAD on the small side imo but it's not a big deal. You can use different sizes anyway as long as you understand how it's going to manipulate your opponent's range.

    Think £9.75 is fine. A lot of villains won't have a flatting range facing 4-bets oop. If villain is 5-bet jamming or folding it makes sense to 4-bet small.
