Can you hide yourself on "find a player"?

Just wondering, because I tried to search a player and couldn't find them? I even went on to a table they were on and c+p their name in case I was getting a letter mixed up and still couldn't find them.

    I asked this Q couple of years ago and iirc the answer was. In the early days you could opt-in/out of the search a player.

    Ah OK, thanks :)

    Does seem a bit unfair though that some people can't be searched whereas others can't. If they decided to stop this option they should have either got rid of "find a player" or allow everyone to be searched even if they had opted out previously.
