Hi Guys,

I am planning to fly to East Midlands airport for the UKPC.

Any recommendations for hotels close to the casino.

Also what day are the sky players planning to play the mini day 1s.

Thanks

Pat

There's loads on laterooms from what I saw.  I'm playing the Mini day 1 on the Saturday of the same weekend that day 2 is on (21st Feb), probably the early flight so I can go out for a few beers after.  Won a satellite so I'm in for £21 \o/

Some nice little B&Bs in and around Nottingham that are reasonable prices.  If you have a look on the DTD site, along the top there's a navigation bar - hover over 'About Us' and then on the drop down menu go to 'Accomodation', from that page there is a link directly to laterooms to search for rooms centered around dusk till dawn - very handy!

I'm booked into a nice little B&B in beeston which is a couple of miles away, but for £50 for a twin room (inclduing brekkie) for myself and a friend it's great value.

Many stay at the Castle Marina Holiday Inn.

"Main Event travel" (very good, & they have a deal with DTD) do a really good selection at competitive prices, or so I'm told.

    The Travelodge Nottingham Riverside Hotel,
is very close to DTD about 5 min by taxi about £5 (min fare)
typical Travelodge hotel with a pub next door that dose food
I have stayed there a couple of times, never had a problem

I booked in to the Grove Guest House. I've stayed there twice before and it's fantastic value at under thirty quid a night. It's just a small place but it's only five minutes drive (or taxi) from DTD.

    Hello,

I've been going to DTD Nottingham for many many years

As a recommendation , the Castle Marina Holiday Inn is fantastic ( as Tikay already mentioned)  Also The Premier Inn, Nottingham South Ruddington is nice!

I have also used Main Event Travel who offer great hotel deals - Worth taking a look!

    Regards,

    Christie
