Boom!!!! Won't be needing to buy in on Monday. How ironic, my 1st attempt with DTD (for this UKPC) after a total failure on Sky.

Anyone know how many got through from UKPC Mini Online Day1A and what the stack sizes are? (were there any artificially high stack sizes due to the problems?). Also does anyone know how to find a tournament that is running on PP after reg. ends, and watch it? I'm going to play the UKPC Mini Online Day1 tomorrow (GARYTHEROCK is my ID on PP), but it doesn't feel right playing it on PP somehow, as I'm a big fan of Sky and the Community, however it's the UKPC I'm supporting! Cheers, Graham

There were 92 entries last night once the late reg had closed. So I make that 492+92=584 so far. Not bad!

I'm safely installed at DTD, where play starts in around 40 minutes time for the first of today's two flights in the Sky Poker UKPC Mini @ DTD.

The club is absolutely heaving with players all eager to help themselves (in ecxchange for £110) to some of the £200,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool.

    OFFICIAL CORRECTION

Actually, there is not a soul in the Club, apart from the cleaners & me.

But very soon it will be heaving. Almost certainly. Probably. Ish.

Meanwhile, to amuse ourselves, what was this photo about, & can you name the 5 people in it?

Have you ever had a stack like this?

The greens are 1,000, purples are 5,000, the "salmon" ones are 25,000.

    Now THAT is a stack.

You absolutely get the right idea Rob, I was hoping for some comedy replies.

    Nothing THAT daft, though,
One Direction (or as we call them, 1D) are an all-male combo.

The doors here opened at 1.30, & there are now 37 entrants, plus a queue to pay in that strethces from the cash desk, right through Reception, & into the Car Park.

Obviously they are The Honeycombs of " Have I the right" fame, the clues were the female drummer and the 60's attire. What do I win ? :)

    Just like that.....

Saw an eye-popping 100,000 pot in Level one.

    On a flop of.....

    J-6-5 rainbow......

A-J man was convinved he was good, & the pot got all bloated. J-J man, meanwhile, was doing the theatrical dwell thing.

And if A-J man thought he was good on the flop, the turn convinced him he had the stone cold nuts....

    J-6-5-A

In they all went, & J-J man did not need to do the theatricals this time, & there you go, 100,000 in the middle.

A blank river sealed the deal, full 2xUp, just like that.
