Results a side, is this a good call?

This is the Turbo Tuesday main event at 200/400 bb with 300/600 coming in about 2 minutes time.

No real reads on players. the table as a whole has seen a few limped pots with **** hands and I've been pushing the tight aggressive image.

Due to the limped pot, I decide a pot sized raise would be right and would be happy to see it fold all the way round.

post flop when he goes all in, I put aj or sets at the top of his range of hands he'd have here. I think I have decent equity to call with my pair of jacks, queen kicker as due to the limp pre flop, I think he is more likely to have 2 clubs in his hand, and I'm happy to take a flip to increase my dwinderling stack.

I'm just wondering long term, if I should be calling this when I could just fold and leave myself 14 bb, soon to be -10 bb when it goes to 300/600 in 2 minutes time.

standad call after flop. i dont like your 1600 raise to big if u going 1600 u might as well jam pre which i probaly do. if u wont to standad raise make it 1000-1300 its anorther as at this point u opaning raise without limpers should be 800-900. gd agression by the way just ul.

Pretty decent hand to overlimp with, we don't really mind seeing a multiway flop with this.

As played, not loving it but probably (just) have to go with it. If the 3h was the 3d then it might be a pass

yeah that is a hugeee raise for that stage of an MTT and you have to fold if you get shoved on so its not the best idea... why not make it 950-1100? i guarantee it will do the exact same job and this time round it probably wouldnt affectr things too much but in the long term it will save you a lot of chips and still give you the initiative in the hand

I can see what you all mean. Bet less pre flop and give myself the option of folding on another street if need be. I feel as though I could of folded this shove if I had a bigger stack and looked for a better spot later, so betting less or limping along pre would of helped me.

I'll be honest, I never really limp along with anyone preflop these days, it's so frowned upon that I either raise or fold. But I can see how I could of benefited from it in this situation.
