Poker Tokens query

Just wanted to know if anyone could explain this please, offered three tournament tokens of 2x £2.20 and 1x £1.10 once depositing, entered a tournament valued @ £2.20 and this has somehow used up the £1.10 token also leaving me with just another £2.20 entry, very confusing any ideas how this works?
