    tikay, is that the way of totalling, i.e the maximum of the guarantee or the sum paid out?

    Hi Rob,

    Yes, my belief is that it SHOULD be......

    If the Guarantee is NOT met, then we use the Guarantee figure.

    If the Guarantee is BEATEN, we use the upper figure.

    In other words, "total prize pools". If a £2,000 Gtd Event only makes £1,500, then the prize pool, it seems to me, is £2,000, because that is what is paid out. Always. *

    * Can of Worms excepted.

    I still don't know Dakin, sorry, I'm setting it aside for today, as everything I do today is going wrong. I believe Rob is helping, & will arrive at the right answer this evening.

    The Main Event winner will still get their seat this Thursday, the two "Tuesday" winners will get their Free Entry for NEXT Tuesday.

    I dare not settle it tonight, in case I get it wrong again, & we end up with THREE sets of prizes.  

    What was it Lady Bracknell said?
