typical freeroll i go all in with ace king only to be put out by guy going all in with 3 7 off suit. who goes all in on that hand??? very frustrating but there you have it

Hi flash.
If he showed you his 3-7 BEFORE the flop, & then said "do you still want to take me on?", what would your answer have been?
For reference, you are roughly a 2/1 favourite, ignoring suits, to get a full double up.
Look at it another way.
If you were offered the chance to run that exact hand 10,000 times, would you accept? Yes or no?
It could have been worse, too - it was a Freeroll, just imagine if you had paid to enter?
It does irk a little, yes, but it's just the beauty of poker.
