Lag/bad table graphics following recent browser update

Afternoon guys n gals.

A few days ago i updated my Firefox browser to V.38.0.1.
Since then i have been having bad lag in the lobbies and on the tables.
Tables are especially bad with parts of the graphics being "blacked out".
Never experienced it before.

Also general browsing seems to have slowed down in comparison to Chrome (which i've just downloaded and tried).

Any ideas??

PS
I've cleared cookies, cache and updated Adobe Air.

... click on plugins icon, once add-on manager is up there is a "check if plug-ins are up to date" link towards the top left.

well I lost 60p testing out FF :-p

    So it had better work!

Might just be that FF is taking up more memory than Chrome - as well as checking your plugins are up-todate also worth disabling any you dont need.

Just tried a couple of tables through Firefox - still got same problems as in OP.
Haven't been able to load tables through download for ages so looks like I'll have to use Chrome.

Close down all Firefox windows and somewhere on your Start menu look for Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode)

Use that to start Firefox and it will start Firefox with no addons running.

See if you can open tables and play in Safe Mode.

If you can then it's something loading when Firefox starts that causes the problem.

I haven't played since FF v38.0.1 but loading tables (view only) looks okay. However, I have noticed some graphic corruption but only in the browser's address bar, and menu bar if I enable it. Hovering the mouse pointer over clears it.
Seems to be a FF issue in the latest release.
    No other issues to report.

I've had that issue. At one point I couldn't see the community cards, pre and post flop. Might try Chrome myself.
