I like to always be at 100bb and always top up. I usually multi-table, and have it on mini view, so if I make a c-bet, then I will also use the top up to max feature because its easier and quicker etc, but today I had the table full size with all the summary options on and saw this:
>scotty77 raised for £2.50.
>5toneFace folded
>maden01 folded
>johnboy179 folded
>hairyhaggi folded
>spiral115 called for £2.
>Dealing the flop (Js,7d,6s).
>spiral115 checked.
>scotty77 bet £3.50.
>spiral115 called for £3.50.
>Dealing the turn (9h).
>scotty77 has topped up their balance to £45.77
I have never noticed this before but this is a massive massive tell that I don't expect to win the hand, can this be turned off or any top up requests not go thru until the hand is over.

I have to say I've seen people do it before and it's made me alot more confident they'll be folding to my bet.
i'll send this thread over to the poker team and see if we can get an answer for you.
all the best,
Rich
I'm usually on mini-view also so I doubt I'll notice you trying to double bluff me with it.
You are the first person to ever raise this that i'm aware of and it's a good point, we can see that you would not want opponents to know you have requested a top up whilst the hand is still active.
Leave it with us and we'll see if we can get this changed to only send the message when the chips are actually awarded at the end of the hand.
Kind Regards
Adam
That really happens, no way for the most part i have chat off. But i do the same i cannot believe this is actually the case.
No wonder so many of my cbets get called.
Yes this change has been added to an upcoming development package with the following logic:
If you top up whilst still active in the hand then the top up message will only be displayed to the table when you exit the hand, (folding, winning or showdown)
If you have already folded when you top up then the message will be shown to the table instantly.
It will take time to release the package to live, in accordance with our development schedule, but it will be done in the next few months and we'll let you know personally when happens.
Thank you again for raising this point, if you (or anyone else) have any other suggestions then please feel free to voice them here in the community. We can't promise that all will be implemented but we really appreciate your feedback, which is an essential part to the development of Sky Poker.
Best Wishes

Do you know if the colour of the bet buttons in miniview will be changed in the next major poker release?
I'll try and get an answer from Adam for you. (he's out the office right now so it might not be until the start of next week.)
thanks
This is not scheduled in the next poker release, however your feedback has been noted and will be discussed during the next development phase of the flash client.
I'll happily keep you informed of any update, either by PM or on this thread
Best Wishes
Adam
This has still not changed, can you tell us when it will
The next release is planned for a week on Tuesday (the 18th), however, this may change so don't pin all your hopes on that date.
A member of the team will update this thread when the release is live.
thanks
