Thought it would be nice to have a thread where people can post any good documentaries films or other interesting poker media contained in one neat and tidy thread :-)

I am happy to start this off with a short documentary I watched the other night on Jason K o o n s (would not let me spell it) WSOP entries into the $111.111 and the Aria 500k highroller both in the same week.

Also includes little snippets of Ivey esfandiara haxton etc.... really good watch

    really enjoyed the short documentary thanks for posting it itsover4u.

    shows a lot when a lot of top pros saying how much nice guy jason he is.

    Many will have have seen this..... if you havent you quite simply must watch!

    2 months 2 million follows 4 online pros (prinnyraid, ansky, whitelime & Flawless Victory) Rent a house in Vegas with the aim of making 2 million in 2 months.

    This is a 6 part series (the link provided has all 6 episodes in one video to save you searching)

    There are some great highstakes games featured against players such as Benyamine and Viffer & features other great online winners such as luckychewie and AEjones

    Side prop note goes to high stakes Sky Poker player "Pokie panda" who also makes an apperance.

    yeah bud seen 2m2m love that also wish they would make another one be awesome.

    I got a documentary don`t know if others have seen it but will post link because was a good watch imo.

    Hey Tikay was nice to play with you, even playing a game I am sure I would be a loser at without studying. Fortunately I did ok and just mixed a few games in with my regular heads up grind :-)

    I saw you cashed in that £11 jobbie played together. I never.......

    There was one really incred player in that, had me all tied up every time I took him on. We are supposed to "put players on a range". Good luck doing it against that Gent. He won 3 from 4, too. Incred scenes. 

    I was a bit wary of you, as I know you are a good short handed player, so I tried to keep out of your way for the most part.

    Todays first video to add to the library is a great documentary on the late & great Dave Devilfish Ulliot. Somebody rescued this from a VHS and it is a fantastic watch.

    The Video follows Dave playing tournaments and dodgy high stakes cash games in somebodys living room / basement.

    Some typical Devilfish guitar playing and singing is also involved.

    Another great Docuentary made fairly recently.... a must watch.

    Filmmakers follow a new generation of Internet poker professionals during the meteoric rise and sudden crash of the multibillion dollar online poker industry during the 2000s.

    Unfortunately this movie costs $3.95 to watch and I dont intend on breaking copyright laws :D

    You can get a taster from youtube including the isildur fairytale..... brilliantly put together and very proffesional documentary.



    Documentary 2 is one of a Kind: the rise of fall of Stu Ungar..... 1 word..... incredible

    For those that have never heard of Archie Karas I feel it is my duty to inform you of this unbelivable true story.

    If you never read anything again read this!

    The guy went to Vegas with $50..... the journey is incredible

    Echo Jimi's post, this is a quality thread and looking forward to catching up with those links I've not seen previously.  Keep up the good work!

    Agree that another version of 2m2m would be well received. Should have gotten some of the Sky regs to sort that (with a lower cash target lol) while they were all out for the Vegas packages.

    Every poker players house should have a tilt room :)

    Thanks for this, just started watching it. Didn't realise someone offered to buy half of Moneymaker's WSOP action then withdrew because he lost the $5K (playing online?). Reckon it'd take me a lifetime to get over that...
